8:45am- Arrive at school
Staff will be there to meet you and direct you where your bags need to go and where you will be able to play. These areas will be years 1-2 on the new rubber area whilst years 3-6 will be on the concrete playground. If children are anxious older siblings can stay with them in the infants area.
9:05am- Bell will ring.
Year 1-2 will be directed to sit under the big tree on the rubber area.
Year 3-4 will be directed to the concrete playground.
Year 5 &6 will go to the hall.
Children will be put in their classes and return to their learning area.
9:45- 11:05- In class
Children will be introduced to school values and taken on walk to learn where the playground areas are and specific expected playground behaviours.
11:05-11:30- Recess
Children will sit down to eat and then play in either K-2, 3-6 or joint area on the back oval.
11:30-1:00pm- Middle session
1:00-1:50pm- Lunch
The first 10 minutes will be eating time supervised by class teachers. This will be followed by play time in the same three areas. A games program will also be running during each lunch on the back oval.
1:50-2:55pm- Afternoon Session
2:55pm-3:05pm- Whole School Assembly
Will be conducted on back oval and will celebrate positive contributions by the students throughout the day. Children will be dismissed from this area under the supervision of teachers.
Parents are welcome to attend this assembly each day.
